Our Mission

Bet Sefer Heritage School has provided academic excellence within a safe, personal, and nurturing environment, since its inception, in 1978.

Our small classes and individualized instruction create a comfortable learning environment designed to spark each child life long enthusiasm for learning.

Children develop the knowledge and skills they will need to reach their individual goals.

Our Mission is to educate students from diverse background in Judaic environment, adhering to a strong academic curriculum that celebrates the uniqueness of each child’s family, culture, learning style, and personal potential.

Bet Sefer is supported, in part, by The Jewish Federation of Volusia and Flagler Counties.

The Bet Sefer Family

The family of each child is the family of Bet Sefer. We encourage parental involvement with out faculty and programs. Our faculty care about the lives of each child and the school community. Students, in turn, care about each other. Cross grade friendships are common. There is a nurturing between older and younger children.

Judaica

In our Judaica program, Children are inspired to incorporate Jewish values into their daily lives.

Children learn the prayers, songs, biblical stories, and history of the Jewish people. Holidays are observed and classroom instruction fosters the traditions and aspects of each custom. celebrated. Shabbat services are observed on Fridays and local rabbis, with the aide of our children. lead Friday prayer services.

Lunches / Snacks

Nutritious meals are prepared daily in our own Kosher kitchen, Snacks are offered in the morning and afternoon.

After School Program

After school care is offers from 3:00 P.M to 5:30 P.M daily. Activities included:

* Personal assistance with homework

* Computer access

* Tutoring offered by certified teachers

* Art Classes, group sports, interactive games
